1. Body mechanics training to "Protect your body"

Content: Safe mechanics of the whole body - including the back, neck, shoulder, arms, and legs. Lifting techniques will be demonstrated and practice.
Class size: 35 to 40
Duration: 1hour
Requirement: LCD projector

This training is most effective if it is preceded by 1-2 hours of on-site observation of work being performed. During this observation, photos will be taken and then incorporated into the training. However, a general class may also be of value.

2. Self help education for " Aching Body"

Content: Symptoms and causes of cumulative trauma and how to reduce the risks associated with those aches and pains using sound injury prevention and ergonomic principles. Content: Injuries related to usage of mouse, "Mouse hand syndrome". causes, symptoms and corrective actions as well as other ergonomic principles, exercises to help prevent "mouse hand syndrome".

5. Women and Low back pain:

Content: Specific causes of low back pain in women, when it becomes a serious issue, what lifestyle changes can help to minimize low back pain, exercises and do's and don'ts
Class Size: 35 to 40 women

6. Stress management lectures:

Topic: Self help tips for work life balance
Content: Daily stressors, reaction to stress, self help techniques such as progressive relaxation exercises, Imagery techniques, finding time for "Me", open to discussion
Duration: 2 hours

7. Nutrition Secrets!

Content: Quiz, Food pyramid, balanced diet, what to eat, what to avoid
Duration: 1 hour
Requirements: LCD projector
Audience size: 40 to 50 persons

8. Nutrition for Women's Health

Content: Nutrition quiz, balanced nutrition, weight management, diets in relation to women's issues, weight- body fat check
Duration: 2 hours

9. Eating right for Better Health

Content: Nutrition quiz, balanced nutrition, weight management, diets in relation to lifestyle-related diseases, weight- body fat check
